Can AI Heal Our Broken Democracy?

Simon Horton

Democracy is in a bad way. But new AI platforms can bridge the divide and find agreement in the most polarised situations. Social media is optimised for outrage and anger but deliberative tech is optimised for agreement. Find out how this new technology is transforming politics and, indeed, all forms of governance. You can even join in too.

The End of Conflict

Simon Horton

Humans know how to resolve conflict but the knowledge is not widely spread. AI can model this best practice and make it more widely available. I’ve spent 20 years teaching negotiation and conflict resolution and I can see that AI is already doing amazing things in this field. As it becomes more deeply embedded in the background processes of our world, quietly collaborating in a best practice manner, we humans will in turn learn back from the example set by AI and we will naturally become a more collaborative and harmonious society.
